High end dishwasher features - Loaded with features that maximize flexibility and performance, high end models upstage the basic low end or even mid range models. Brands like Jenn Air, Maytag, GE and Kenmore have higher end models. Miele dishwashers are HIGH END. And, brands such as: Fisher and Paykel, Kitchenaid, Bosch and Asko dishwashers are also revered.

Features that define quality

In the case of Kitchenaid, the high end S Series has an ultra Quiet Whisper Package of 50 decibels, compared to a mid priced Kitchenaid at 54 decibels. (Note: the quietest dishwashers measure in at around 44 decibels). Why is noise a factor? People don't want to have to shout over or even hear their appliances running.
